March 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Allu Arjun’s latest film is “Varudu’. The film had almost completed its shooting but for the canning of a song under the direction of Gunasekhar. However, Allu Arjun suffered an injury to his left hand while taking part in action scenes. He was advised rest for a few days by the doctor.

Though the producer had planned to release the film on March 26, it is reliably learnt that there is a chance of its postponement to April 2. However, the unit is claiming technical reasons for the delay in the release without blaming the hero.

At the same time, IPL, the cricket season could also be another reason for the postponement of the release. The film did a good business and the satellite rights of the movie were bagged by Gemini TV for Rs 3.5 crore. The film is being produced by DVV Danayya on the banner of Universal Media.
