Vande Mataram releases first in overseas

September 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Superstar Mammooty-Action King Arjun starrer Vande Mataram was supposed to hit screens on September 10. Due to some financial problems of producer Henry, the film’s release has been postponed to this Friday (Sep 17). But the ardent buffs of Mammooty in foreign countries are privileged as the film is released on Sep. 10th itself.

“Vande Mataram’ is a bilingual movie and will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam on September 17th in India.

This action-thriller revolves around a cop (Arjun) and a CBI officer (Mammooty) working together against terrorists’ operations across Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. Sneha plays the role of pilot and Mammooty’s wife and Late actor Rajan P Dev plays an important role in this movie.

The film is produced by Henry under the banner of Pankaj Productions and is directed by Aravind. T, who has made several blockbuster films including “Oomai Vizhigal’.
