May 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Vampire Diaries” is progressing towards its end and after offering a long series of mysterious tales starting from Katherine and the unending tension between the Salvatore brothers to the entertaining episodes telling us the history of Elena’s birth parents to the history of the Mystic Falls, the witches and the vampire slayers, this season’s final episode deals with the war between the Tomb vampires and the Founding families.

This supernatural horror series adopted from the book of the same name first went on air on the CW Television Network back in the year 2009. With the final episode of the “Vampire Diaries” to be aired soon the producers have promised to treat the viewers to some shocking moments which will supposedly them speechless!

In season finale, John Gilbert enumerates his plans to eradicate the Mystic Falls vampires as the celebrations of the Founder’s Day are still on. Sheriff Liz opposes his decision and finds herself in handcuffs. On the other hand when John Gilbert activates the device with which he plans to kill the vampires, Mayor Lockwood and Tyler can hear the piercing sound made by the device. This comes as a shock as only vampires are supposed to hear the sound, so are the two not human? This season will only reveal the fact that the Mayor is not a vampire but still lands up in the group of the Tomb vampires. The character of Anna dies and Jeremy drinks her blood, the Salvatore Brothers are safe and Elena pairs up with Damon. Finally John Gilbert also dies at the end of this season and this is the final twist in the tale.
