Tom Vitale and Valerie Bertinelli started dating each other since 2004. After being together for six years, the couple announced their engagement on May 20, 2010. However, the representative of the actress said that the couple tied the knot in front of their close family members and friends in a lavish ceremony in Malibu. The wedding was also graced by Valerie Bertinelli’s television co-stars from her previous television series’ as well as the new soaps.

After her engagement, in one of her interviews, Valerie Bertinelli told a reputed media source that in Tom Vitale he got a friend and a life partner she has always wanted in her life. A reputed media source reported that the actress’ ex-husband Eddie Van Halen was also present at the wedding along with their son Wolfie, 19. Valerie Bertinelli told that initially she was so apprehensive about her marriage that she planned to wed in front of only two witnesses. Moreover, she said that she was afraid of the commitment as well.

The media outlets reported that the couple exchanged vows in front of 100 guests at the wedding. The guests included Jane Leeves and Wendie Mallick. Mackenzie Phillips and Pat Harrington also graced the occasion to shower their blessing on the couple. Valerie Bertinelli and her husband Tom Vitale are yet to divulge their honeymoon destination.
