UTV ties up with Sundar C. for ‘Masala Cafe’
October 17th, 2011 - 5:30 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 17 (IANS) Production company UTV Motion Pictures Monday announced its partnership with Tamil director Sundar C. for his comic entertainer “Masala Cafe”, co-produced by his wife, Khushbu Sundar’s Avni Cinemax.
Sundar C., who has a slew of successful films like “Ullathai Alli Tha”, “Mettukudi”, “Arunachalam” and “Anbe Sivam” to his credit, is back to writing and directing with “Masala Cafe”.
The film stars young heroes Vimal, Shiva, Anjali and Santhanam, among others, a press statement said.
Targeted at the youth, “Masala Cafe” will release in the summer of 2012. Shooting will commence in Kumbakonam and Chennai in November.
