UTV Movies To Offer ‘Jeeyo Ajay’ Movie Festival From January 24 To 28

UTV Movies channel is all set to start a movie festival on Bollywood star Ajay Devgn. The first ever movie festival on Ajay Devgn on Indian television is titled ‘Jeeyo Ajay’, which will be held from January 24 to 28, 2011.
Earlier, the channel organized the same kind of festival on renowned Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi and Aishwarya Rai. The channel urges its viewers to live life in Bollywood style with its ‘Jeeyo Bollywood’ brand tagline. So ‘Jeeyo Ajay’ is part of their regular brand tagline.
As part of this ‘Jeeyo Ajay’ festival, the channel will air Ajay’s films like Golmaal Returns, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Raju Chacha, Apaharan and Kachche Dhagge.
On January 18, 2011, Ajay will interact with his fans through facebook fan page of UTV Movies via a webcam.
Kunal Mukherjee, marketing head of UTV Movies marketing head, stated that modern day audience prefer interacting with their favourite stars and social media serves this purpose. He thinks Facebook is the perfect destination for connecting with the fans, so UTV Movies is taking their ‘Jeeyo Bollywood’ proposition one step ahead with Ajay Devgn. Mukherjee is sure that the fans of the star will be logged in to connect with him and UTV Movies.
