Usher announces his London show

London, May 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It has been announced that the R&B singer Usher will perform a one off show at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo on Monday 11th June. Usher will perform in the British capital the same day his seventh studio album, “Looking at Myself” will be released. The sale of the tickets for the singer’s London show will start on Friday 1st June at 9am.

Usher has won seven Grammys since the start of his career. He rose to fame after the commercial success of his 6-times platinum second album My Way, and his number-one hit “Nice & Slow”. In 2004, his diamond album Confessions sold more than 10 million copies in the US alone.

It has been reported that most of the songs contained in his new album has been written by the singer himself. The album’s producers and collaborators will include Will I. Am, Diplo, Swedish House Mafia, Max Martin, and Empire of the Sun.

The critically acclaimed first single of the album, “Climax,” has received over eight million views in less than a month, and has earned very positive reviews from Rolling Stone, USA Today, and Pitchfork.

The singer has recently collaborated with David Guetta in the number one song ‘Without You’, and with Romeo Santos in the track ‘Promise’, which also reached the number one position on numerous Latin music charts.
