US woman takes 50 Cent to court over sex video
February 25th, 2010 - 4:54 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb 25 (ANI): A Florida woman has sued rapper 50 Cent in Manhattan, claiming he unlawfully distributed her homemade sex video over the internet.
In her lawsuit, Lastonia Leviston claimed unauthorized use of her name or image and emotional distress caused by the public release of a video she made with a lover in 2008, reports The Mirror.
Leviston claims 50 Cent, real name Curtis James Jackson III, blurred out her lover’s face and altered the footage to depict himself wearing a curly wig and blue robe, while adding his own narration.
The woman filed the lawsuit on Wednesday. (ANI)
