Los Angeles, Nov 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Los Angeles Police Department has reportedly re-opened investigation into the death of Hollywood star Natalie Wood, 30 years since she drowned under mysterious circumstances. Los Angeles’ CBS-2 TV says the investigators have collected enough information to solve one of the high profile homicide mysteries in the United States.

The Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives at Los Angeles plans to share more information into the report during a press conference on Friday. The report say the re-opening of the investigation follows new tips from people who claim that they have “additional information about the Natalie Wood Wagner drowning.”

The Los Angeles Times say the captain who was in charge of the boat from which Woods drowned have made new comments that officials deem important to the case. Captain Dennis Davern was interviewed on the television show 48 Hours Mystery about the death of Woods.

The first investigation into the death of Woods ended when the officials ruled that it was an accident.

Woods drowned when she allegedly fell from the deck of the luxury yacht with her husband Christopher Walken on board. The couple with their friends were in the luxury boat at Isthmus of Catalina Island when the accident happened.

Woods died on the 29th of November 1981.
