US company launches online talent hunt in India
January 29th, 2010 - 1:38 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 29 (IANS) US based media and entertainment player TalentTrove has launched an online singing talent hunt contest for the budding singers in India.
Titled “TalentTrove Bollywood Singer-2010″, it is open to all amateur individuals Feb 1 onwards for 60 days of entry submission.
With a cash prize of Rs.500,000, contestants can register with TalentTrove.com to submit their audio or video on any Bollywood song.
“India has a vast pool of untapped talent. As a part of our commitment at TalentTrove, we wish to provide a global platform to talent in India,” Jatinder Singh, president, TalentTrove Inc. and managing director, TalentTrove India said, in a statement Thursday.
“Bollywood songs have become an integral part of day-to-day lives of Indians and we plan to reach at the door steps of millions of Bollywood lovers to offer them a chance to be discovered,” he added.
“Bollywood Singer-2010″ winners will be selected by the registered members and visitors on the website.
