Los Angeles, May 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) All is set for the 1960s band Pink Floyd to release their never-before-heard tracks. The tracks were not released earlier because the surviving members of the band took EMI to court to block any digital release of the tracks in 1999.

With the core issue settled, the group has agreed to the digital release of the tracks and the re-release of the band’s 14 albums. The albums will be released starting from September.

One of the tracks that will be released is “Wish You Were Here” which also featured legend jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli. The band had always wanted to stick to the conventional way of releasing their songs but with the lengthy legal battle now laid to rest, the band has agreed that some of the albums should be released in sets.

The band was a phenomenon during their active years. They released a total of 14 albums from 1967 to 1994. Three of the band’s albums were a huge success and the band plans to re-release those three albums in a special way. The albums “The Dark Side Of The Moon”, “Wish You Were Here” and “The Wall” will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD.
