UMLE Rules At The Latin Billboard Awards 2010

bill2Puerto Rico, Apr 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Conrad Condado Plaza Hotel of Puerto Rico witnessed a sizzling hosting of the 21st Annual Billboard Latin Music Conference Awards on April 29, 2010. Needless to mention that the prestigious award ceremony had the very best of the musical performances and the presence of all prominent faces of the music industry which included performers like Flex, Larry Hernandez, Carolina La-O and Diana Reyes who were also the finalists at the award ceremony.

Surpassing all others UMLE picked up the Award for the Best Latin Albums Label of the Year along with the “Hot Latin Songs Label of the Year”. Following that was Disa, who won the “Regional Mexican Airplay Label of the Year Award”. Inspite of its dominance in the award ceremony, the tropical music awards was the only category where UMLE failed to shine as Sony Music Latin was selected the best for this award. Besides the “Tropical Music Award”, Sony Music Latin also made its way to the top as the best “Tropical Album Label of the Year Award” and the “Tropical Airplay Label of the Year Award”.

Bachata Urbana “Aventura” was one of the best in the award ceremony who went ahead to pull the award for the best Latin digital album of the year thus making it to the top with a total of nine awards, for “The Last”. State Farm joined in hands with T-Mobile to give away the 2010 Latin Music Conference Awards. Besides the performances from the finalists of the award ceremony, there were also 20 acts alongside 14 other performances in the award ceremony which was aired over 50 nations that happens to be a record in the history of Bill Board Latin Music Conference Awards.
