“Kill Bill’ actress Uma Thurman says that she’s no plan to remarry soon.
In fact she wants some more time and wishes to enjoy her courtship period with fiancé Arpad Busson.
Though she got engaged to multi-millionaire Busson in June 2008, they aren’t in a hurry to finalize the marriage date.
The lanky beauty has been saying that her family and friends have to wait longer before they receive any wedding invitations.
She said, “I’m happily engaged, but we haven’t set a wedding up. I’m not in a rush to do anything. One day we’ll do it, when we’re ready.”
The actress has been married twice before- first to actor Gary Oldman and then to Ethan Hawke who she divorced in 2004. She had two kids with him- Maya, 11, and son Levon, seven.
Busson was previously engaged to wed supermodel Elle Macpherson, with whom he has two sons.
Thurman mightn’t be ready for marriage again yet but wishes to start acting soon again. She was working in New York for quite a long time to be close to her children.
Uma Thurman said, “I am a mother, but I need to do what I am good at doing. Even your kids need you to be who you are. I have been living at home for a long time. If I don’t leave soon, I’m going to literally choke my career to death.”
And she’s love the surprises life has thrown at her: “I feel like I have lived my life backwards. Getting older has been a process of realizing. To realize that just when you think you have figured it out, life surprises you.”
Whatever, Uma seems to be in a happy place in life and knowing exactly what she wants.
