‘Ugly Betty’ to end in April
January 28th, 2010 - 1:07 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 28 (IANS) Bad news for the fans of the popular US TV show “Ugly Betty” as the producers have decided to wrap it up after its ongoing fourth season comes to an end.
The cult comedy, which started in 2006, will wrap up in April 2010, reports imdb.com.
“We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this the final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion,” executive producer Silvia Horta and ABC TV executive Steve McPherson said in a joint statement.
“We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell,” he said.
The show is about Betty Suarez who is an ace at everything, except her fashion sense.
