‘Ugly Betty’ America Ferrera has a new show ‘Pedro & Maria’

New York City, Apr 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The show ‘Ugly Betty’ was canceled by ABC, because the ratings were dropping. But the show’s fans were worried about America Ferrera, as what would happen to her. However they needn’t be worried as she has already has some new projects lined up. She is soon going to star in the show ‘Pedro & Maria’, which will be bilingual and interactive as well. The audience would be able to suggest plots and story ideas also. The audience would suggest plots and ideas, via online resources such as the popular microblogging site Twitter and Facebook.
America Ferrera said that she was aware that the show ‘Ugly Betty’ was losing ratings for some time now, and so it was a bad financial idea to continue with the series. However America is very pleased with the fact, that she bid adieu to the series on a good note. She said that, “Critics and our audience were very pleased with what was happening this season. It’s nice to at least go out when we found a nice creative place rather than going out when it wasn’t working creatively.”
There are also reports that she has also landed a movie role, and she would also don the producer’s hat for a TV show.
