Uday Chopra to quit acting after ‘Dhoom 3′
June 28th, 2011 - 10:23 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 28 (IANS) Actor Uday Chopra has revealed that he is set to give up his acting career after “Dhoom 3″.
“Ok confession time…Dhoom 3 is my swan song…my last film…no I’m not giving up acting…quite the opposite, acting is giving up on me!” Uday wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
The 38-year-old son of filmmaker Yash Chopra forayed into acting with his home production “Mohabbatein” in 2000 along with Jimmy Shergill and Jugal Hansraj.
Uday was later seen in “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai”, which also did well at the box office, and has also been a part of successful “Dhoom” franchise. However, his other films failed to set the cash registers ringing at the box-office.
