Washington, Jan 9 (ANI): Irish rock band U2′’s new album ”No Line on the Horizon” has been inspired by Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page and Jack White, the band have claimed.
The Edge told Rolling Stone that spending time with The White Stripes leader and Jimmy Page for recent documentary ”It Might Get Loud” influenced his style.
And the rocker has admitted that he was blown away by Page and White’’s talents - citing them as inspirations for the sound of U2′’s twelfth LP.
“I was just fascinated with seeing how Jimmy played those riffs so simply, and with Jack as well,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
