U2’s 360 degree tour sold 1.3 million tickets in the US and Canada, worth 123million dollars overall, and it is the band’s fifth most successful ever held in North America, reports the BBC.
They played 20 shows, charging an average of 93.77 dollars per ticket, but the Rolling Stones hold the record, for a 2005 tour that made 162 million dollars.
The tour featured a giant claw-like stage that offered largely unobstructed views of the veteran foursome.
Pollstar’s annual list is based on data provided by concert promoters and venue managers. (ANI)
