Los Angeles, Apr 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) 21 year-old James Ross went on to become America’s next drag queen on Monday, as the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 2 came to an end. RuPaul who acts as a mentor and host for the participants in the show, announced the results by exclaiming that “The other Tyra is dead, long live the next Tyra”. Not only James Ross but also the creator of the show seemed happy with the ultimate win. James Ross after the win mentioned that the title matters to him a lot and that his future will be shaped by the crown that he has received today. Tyra Sanchez or James Ross won $25,000 along with many other promotional gifts.

“RuPaul Drag Race” Season 2 was able to gather much of the attentions of the viewers than the previous year. This year there were many viewers who kept a regular track of the proceedings of the reality television show. Many viewers according to reports preferred California’s Raven to win the crown because according to them he had a softer voice than James Ross and also fulfilled all the qualities that the show wanted of a drag queen. Nevertheless the results of the show though disappointed many in no way affected the popularity of the show as is evident from the curiosity of the viewers who went on Web to search more about the winner.

However, the finale episode maintained the usual drama that is characteristic of the show. After hearing the winner’s name Tyra Sanchez fainted and breathed heavily. He later on went on to say that he had for a time being forgot to breath. Tyra Sanchez tossed his wig when the announcement was made. All these entertained the viewers to the utmost who enjoyed the finale drama.
