Tyler Moore to be Betty White’s costar yet again
November 3rd, 2010 - 6:51 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Nov 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After more than three decades after sharing the set together, Mary Tyler Moore and Betty White are set to share the set again. Tyler is set to star as a guest on the show “Hot in Cleveland” alongside Betty White. The show is in its second season and the pair will star together on the show on Jan 19 2011. The announcement about the pair’s reunion was made by the United States’ television network TV Land.
The last time the pair appeared together on set was in 1977 when the last episode of the show “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”. The show did run from 1973 to 1977 with golden girl Betty playing Sue Ann Nivens on the show. It seems they will have to find that “connection” between them again.
Tyler’s role on the show has not been revealed but Betty will play Elka on the show. The episode that the pair will act together in will be filmed at the same studio where they worked together about 33 years ago.
The second episode of the show “Hot in Cleveland” follows the next first season of the show which was highly successful. The first season had ten episodes and 20 episodes have been ordered for the second season.
