September 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):The upcoming Kannada movie titled “Bannada Kode’ will have two journalists involved with the project. The movie’s director G Krishna is a journalist and the one of the important actor Yathiraj is also a journalist.

“Bannada Kode’ is a small budget movie which has invested only Rs 50 lakh and took only 18 days to complete the shooting. The presence of Rohithkuma Kateel, the Asian level high jump sports person as the lead actor in the film is its strength.

G Krishna is making his debut as a director with this film. The journalist has worked for more than a decade in various visual and print media. Now, Krishna wants to make a film, which will have lots of expression of characters on screen rather than making a dialogue oriented film.

The movie by Krishna deals with a child, who hails from a poor family. The role of the little girl is essayed by Baby Suhasini, who dreams to own a colorful umbrella for her. The film will tell how the girl gets an expensive umbrella with the little income, Krishna was quoted saying.

The joint producers of the movie “Bannada Kode’ are BJ Naraja Naik of “Sagar’, “Shegunasi’, “Siddeshwara’ and Ramanath V Kamth. The music of the film is composed by the “Naval Mumbai’. The other important roles in the movie are played by Sharanya, Shilpa, Master Chiranjeevi, Mohini, Manohar Suvarana, Deepak Pilar and Ramesh Kamath. Cinematography is being done by Vishnuprasad.
