‘Two and Half Men’ reboot is in the pipeline
April 29th, 2011 - 8:36 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, April 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hollywood Reporter reports that co-creator of “Two and a Half Men,” Chuck Lorre is planning a reboot for the show. As it has already been announced, Charlie Sheen does not have any further future with the show.
Instead the report claims that Sheen’s co-star Jon Cryer is in line to take a significant role in the show. The report further said Lorre is looking to bring on board another actor to augment the show. The new actor’s character has not yet been named.
The future of the show was thrown into uncertainty following the firing of Sheen. Since Sheen was fired from the show last March, CBS and Warner Bros. have not indicated if they will continue with the show. The show has been in existence for eight seasons and over the years it became the most successful sitcom in the United States.
Another issue that was not settled in the report is when the show will return to the screens. It is not clear if ever the show will return to the screens.
Charlie Sheen received $1.8 million per episode while he was with the show.
