London, Dec 14 (ANI): Despite the furore surrounding Roman Polanski’s arrest, the director’s latest film, ‘The Ghost Writer’, will not suffer.

His latest project will be distributed by the studio behind the hit Twilight franchise, reports the Daily Star.

Summit Entertainment has signed as the distributor of the film in North America.

And the movie, starring Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor, has had no problem selling to other studios across the globe - with Summit stating it had been snapped up in all other major territories.

Polanski is currently under house arrest after being taken into custody by Swiss authorities in September (09).

He is waiting to see whether the country will extradite him to the U.S. to face sentencing for a child sex charge.

The Rosemary’s Baby auteur has lived in exile in Europe ever since he fled America in 1978 after pleading guilty to having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977. (ANI)
