‘Twilight saga: Eclipse’ to release in Imax next year

IMAX has the capacity to record and display images of far greater size and resolution than conventional film systems.
The Summit Entertainment threequel is scheduled to hit screens on June 30.
“Twilight moviegoers will have a whole new way to experience this next installment of the series, with the enhanced image and sound quality of the Imax experience,” News.com.au quoted Summit distribution chief Richie Fay as saying.
Also, Imax Filmed Entertainment president Greg Foster said the specialty circuit is “poised to take advantage of the rapidly growing fan base devoted to this dynamic, cutting-edge series.”
Meanwhile, the sequel ‘New Moon’ has amassed 256 million dollars in the United States after it opened on November 20. (ANI)
