‘Twilight’ finale might be split into two
December 2nd, 2009 - 2:12 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Los Angeles, Dec 2 (IANS) The makers of “Twilight” franchise may release two movies based on the fourth novel in the series.
Summit Entertainment, which plans to release part three called “Eclipse” in June next year, is considering turning “Breaking Dawn” into a two-part finale, reports people.com.
But before that the makers will have to sort out some problems. Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote the first three movies’ scripts, hasn’t begun writing.
Also, director Chris Weitz, who filmed part two “New Moon”, has said that he wants to quit the movie business after finishing “The Gardener”.
The most critical will be getting actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest to come back on board.
