Twilight fan admits she lied about vampire attack at New Moon screening
November 27th, 2009 - 4:12 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, November 27 (ANI): The 17-year-old girl who alleged a man bit her on the neck while watching “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,’ has confessed she made up the story.
Erin Westrate told the police that a middle-aged man just kissed her on the neck.
She added that she was a willing participant too.
According to TMZ, Westrate can now face criminal charges for wasting police time.
Westrate had earlier claimed that a man bit her, after making sexually suggestive comments, while watching the film at the Cinema Carousel in Norton Shores, reports the Telegraph.
Police had even released a grainy image of the suspect and appealed for information, as part of the investigation. (ANI)
