Twilight author to produce Austenland film

Los Angeles, July 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Stephanie Meyer, well known for authoring ‘Twilight,’ will produce the piece “Austenland.” The title of the project was inspired by Jane Austen with the story based on the novel by Shannon Hale.

Heat Vision reports that filming has already begun in the United Kingdom. Several stars are involved in the project. So far, the participation of the likes of J.J. Field, Jennifer Coolidge, Bret McKenzie, Rupert Vansittart, Jane Seymour, Keri Russell and James Callis have all been confirmed.

The movie will be directed by Jerusha Hess and will be about a woman obsessed with the love of another person. Meyer has in the past produced some of her own works. The author has already produced three “Twilight” movies and the latest project will be the fourth for her.

Meyer worked with singer Andrew McMahon when she wrote a treatment for the song “The Resolution.” During an interview with MTV News, McMahon praised Meyer for the work that the author did saying that, “I’m most excited because, when I was making this album, I wanted to find someone who was really talented and get them to write a treatment and just leave it alone and let it fly. And that’s exactly what we’re doing here.”
