Jack Hanna Montana, July 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jack Hanna, who is popular TV presenter and manager of the Columbus Zoo said that he foiled a grizzly bear attack by using a pepper spray, which is also an advice that he’s already given to other people in the past.

Hanna went hiking with his wife and a couple of other people to the Glacier National Park in Montana on Saturday. The group saw a 125-pound bear cub approaching them aggressively and so he used his can of pepper spray, which he always carries on such trips.

He said beast didn’t stop the approach until he used the pepper spray straight in his face after a couple of attempts in the air. He said pepper sprays have always been part of his luggage, since he started hiking in the past 15 years, but however he didn’t have to use it until now.

When they were faced with the bear, then Hanna’s group of hikers was on their way back from the Grinnell Glacier through a narrow path in the middle of a cliff and steep drop-off.

He recently took part in a National Park Service video encouraging hikers to arm themselves with pepper spray.
