Tulisa Contostavlos has a teeth makeover
August 11th, 2011 - 8:55 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Aug 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ahead of next season’s X Factor UK competition, show judge Tulisa Contostavlos has treated herself with a teeth makeover. The show is scheduled to start next week.
Tulisa reportedly paid £12,000 for the complete set of new teeth ahead of the show. A source close to the singer explained why Tulisa went for the new set.
The source was quoted by the British newspaper The Sun as saying that, “Tulisa has not got bad teeth by any stretch of the imagination. She’s hardly Austin Powers. She had a few problems when she was younger but nothing serious. Since she became famous she has become aware they are not perfectly aligned, so she decided to pay for a bit of help.”
Simon Cowell is a major force behind X Factor and some observers suspect that he is behind the decision by Tulisa to have new set of teeth. Cowell is currently involved in the US version of the show. The music mogul carried his success from American Idol into the X Factor UK show.
He is hoping that the formula will work in the United States where the show has already begun.
X Factor UK is exclusive to ITV and X Factor US is exclusive to FOX.
