Sep 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is an age old saying that all’s well that ends well but this is definitely not applicable for the season finale of third season of True Blood. The third season of the hit vampire drama of HBO which enthralled the viewers with may turns and twists in the plot, presented a damp squib in the season finale. This is what the critics have said on the season finale of the series. As was shown in the promos Both Russell and Eric are seen dying in the sunlight. However, Eric did not die finally as he was saved by Sookie. Godric convinced Eric not to kill him and he buried him in cement alive.

Bill played by actor Stephen Moyer did the same to Eric as was shown in the season finale. However, Eric proved to be second time lucky and escaped with the aid of Pam. Then he reached where Bill and Sookie were and spilled the beans about the intentions of Bill. Sookie got enraged on learning the truth and ran off to the cemetery. However, the viewers felt that the season finale of True Blood’s third season left some loose ends and things were kept unexplained. It was not clear what happened to Sookie.

Despite the loose ends and weakness of the plot the season finale of True Blood was watched by the avid viewers of the series. A lot of them were inclined to see what would happen to the character of Eric. They did not expect him to perish and finally he did not. Now the viewers are eager to know what happens in the next season.
