June 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the fans of the popular television drama series “True Blood” were in for a huge treat when the third season of the hit HBO series aired on Sunday night.

Given the huge popularity that the first two seasons of the series has enjoyed, anticipation has been running high among all the regular viewers of show who were eagerly waiting to catch its third season premiere episode.

However, it would not be misleading to say that the first episode of the new season of “True Blood” was successful in keeping the audiences glued to the television screens.

Last night’s episode of the HBO television drama series was titled ‘Bad Blood’ and it showcased many interesting turn of events which picked up from exactly the same point where the series has concluded last season. The season premiere episode witnessed the character of Sookie seeking the help of Eric in order to find the whereabouts of Bill.

At the same time, while Sam is seen reconnecting with his past, the viewers witness Andy asking Jason to stay along the course and Tara is seen looking for a retreat from her grief. The manner in which the events of the episode unfolded was successful in generating interest among the viewers about the new season of the HBO series.

It has been revealed earlier that the third season of “True Blood” would showcase around 12 episodes and it would be loosely based on Club Dead, the third novel of The Southern Vampire Mysteries. Meanwhile, the creator of the show Alan Ball had revealed in the month of January that the series has been picked for a fourth season.
