truebloodJuly 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The highly anticipated Episode 5 of ‘True Blood’ aired on Sunday, July 18 on HBO. The episode gathered fantastic reviews from viewers as well as critics after some thought that the initial episodes became a little too complicated and boring. The show picked up on its intricate plot and like the previous two seasons managed to keep the audience riveted to their screens.

The episode called ‘Trouble’, showed Sookie and Alcide taking advice from the alpha-wolf ‘packmaster’ about dealing with Russel’s minions. The audience was somewhat thrilled to see the two of them together because it was expected that the dynamic duo will meet much later in the season. Tara is seen considering Frank’s proposal more out of fear and less out of affection. Frank is seen reaching a point in eccentricity where he is no longer in control of his surrounding. The psychotic character has been developed more for the screens as it was a very minor character in the original book. Eric realizes that his father was killed by werewolves and vows for vengeance. Though the obvious fingers point towards Russel, the audience is kept guessing at the real killer of Eric’s family. His quest for vengeance is further aggravated when he sees the crown of his father.

‘True Blood’ is produced by Alan Ball and is based on the book ‘Southern Vampire Diaries’ by Charlaine Harris. The story deals with the life of the telepathic hotel waitress Sookie, played by Anna Paquin. She falls in love with a vampire named Bill Compton, played by Stephen Moyer. It is her inability to read his mind that culminates into a romantic interest.
