Melbourne, Jan 31 (ANI): Irish singer Sinead O’Connor is having such a difficult time with one of her kids that she said she wouldn’t mind taking help if social services called in.

The ‘Nothing compares to you’ singer made the admission following a series of comments she made on Twitter claiming she wanted to die.

The singer said that she was having huge trouble coping as a mother and was using Twitter as an emotional safety valve.

The Irish Mail on Sunday newspaper that while she was having huge trouble coping as a mother, she was only using Twitter as an emotional safety valve.

“I would never act on those feelings,” News.com.au quoted her as telling the Irish Mail.

The 44-year-old said that she was desperate for help and support, particularly with her six-year-old son who was born after an affair with Irish musician Donal Lunny.

“I felt suicidal because it’s my fault that Shane’s father isn’t in his life,” she said, explaining he had been having a difficult time without his father around. (ANI)
