Treehouse of Horror: Simpsons Spoofing Twilight

October 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The preview of The Simpsons’ “Treehouse of Horror” has been released where the creators of the popular show have spoofed ‘Twilight’. In this hilarious episode, Daniel Radcliffe has been roped in to imitate the role of Robert pattinson in ‘Twilight’ movie franchisee. Radcliffe’s character ‘Edmund’ reveals himself as a vampire to Lisa. The duo goes on a tree jumping adventure just like ‘Twilight’. Edmund also saves Lisa from being run over by an approaching School bus.
This is the 21st installment of the Horror episodes and it is going to have three chapters in it. “Wars and Pieces” the very first chapter shows Marge getting worried about the bad effects of violent video games and encourages Bart and Millhouse to try out the classic board games. Soon Bart and Millhouse realize that they are trapped in the world of a board game and they must complete every challenge in order to return home.
The second chapter is called ‘Tweenlight’, where Lisa is smitten by a mysterious new student called Edmund. Edmund woos Lisa and reveals his vampire identity. As love blossoms between the couple they run off to Dracula-la Land and Homer has to rescue Lisa from becoming a vampire.
The third chapter is called ‘Master Cadaver’, which shows Marge and Homer embarking on a second honeymoon, which gets interrupted when they rescue a psychopath castaway Roger (guest voice Hugh Laurie). The “Treehouse Horror” show will air on November 7.
