As expected the trailer has made the fans immensely excited. The teaser gives some insight on the upcoming flick but also leaves much to be revealed. For instance the lead pair is nowhere in the trailer and there is not much high voltage actions. However, after a brief hiatus director Michael Bay has opened up about the experience of shooting the film. He also talked at length about the 3D part of the film. As a matter of fact this is going to be the first film in the series to be shot in 3D technology. He lashed out at those who are saying he merely converted the film into 3D. However, he said that he did not use the same technique used by James Cameron in ‘Avatar.’

According to the director, the film ‘Transformers: Dark of The Moon’ is something between a converted 3D movie and a true 3D film. A part of the film was shot in 3D technology while the rest of it was shot in 2D and would be converted to 3D in Post Productions stage. The director said that the viewers can expect a strong plot in the third movie in the series apart from the eye popping visual effects. In fact, he agreed that the second movie that had weakness in the plot and relied on action and CGI.

In ‘Transformers: Dark of The Moon’ Megan Fox has been replaced by a former Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The movie will feature new types of shape shifting robots as well.
