Los Angeles, July 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The first trailer of the Margaret Thatcher-inspired movie “Iron Lady” has been released. The trailer was released online on Thursday. Thatcher was the first woman Prime Minister of Great Britain. She is considered one of the strongest women to have ever walked on the surface of the planet.

Iron Lady is expected in the cinemas in the early part of next year. Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep was given the task to play the leading role and depict Thatcher. From the trailer, Streep did a very good job with the role with Daily Mail saying the actress looked “every inch the Baroness.”

Roger Allum played the role of Gordon Reece in the movie. In the trailer, Reece told Thatcher that she needs to work on becoming that best leader that she could be. Reece further told her that she needs to get rid of her hat and the pearls that she wore adding that she needs to change her voice because it was “too high and has no authority.”

Thatcher hit back telling Reece that, “I may be persuaded to surrender the hat. The pearls, however are absolutely non-negotiable!”
The movie looks at the famous life of Thatcher as she rose to become the leader of Great Britain in a very difficult time.
