Trace Adkins returns with new album

Los Angeles, Aug 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Trace Adkins has moved back to the formula that saw him play at the top of contemporary country music industry in the past with the release of “Proud to Be Here.” Shortly after leaving the label Capitol in 2010, Trace’s seems to have changed his style when he released the first album under the new label Showdog.

Showdog is owned by Toby Keith and when the release of the first album under the label people started pointing the influence that Keith’s style have had on the album. The new album sounds more like the ones that Trace is known for.

Some of the songs on the album are the title track “Proud to Be Here,’’ “It’s Who You Know,”” That’s What You Get,”” Always Gonna Be That Way” and “More of Us.”

The album was released on Tuesday and it has received favorable ratings since it was released. Trace was with Capitol for several years and he released 10 albums over the period under the label. Trace’s contract with Capitol came to an end in 2010 and the parties failed to renew it.

The latest album is currently on sale worldwide.
