Trace Adkins Hosts American Country Awards, Bags Two Awards

Trace AdkinsDec 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American country music artist Trace Adkins hosted the first American Country Awards last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The star-studded event was graced by who’s who of the country music industry and the host managed to keep the audience riveted to their seats by his non-stop gigs and witty remarks. Before the much anticipated event Trace Adkins told a reputed media source that he is looking forward to it as a challenge. He admitted that he has never done anything like this and it would be nice for him to go outside his comfort zone and do something different. The co-host of the night was Nancy O’Dell.

Trace Adkins told a reputed media source that keeping the perspective of the artist American Country Awards is like a family reunion as the award shows give every artist an opportunity to meet everyone and have fun. The event opened with a video sequence which introduced both the hosts and Trace Adkins’ hit song “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” was playing in the background. The host received award for Music Video of the Year and Male Artist Video of the Year along with Blake Shelton for the song “Hillbilly Bone”. When Trace Adkins took the stage to receive his awards, he thanked all his fans for their support.

“You’re Gonna Miss This” singer gave the final performance of the night and the producers also put some credits at the top of his song. Overall the event lived up to the expectation of the audience as it witnessed some mind-blowing performances by the country audience. Carrie Underwood shined in the event as she nabbed six prestigious awards.
