London, Oct 16 (ANI): One in three British people feels that Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has the best job in the world, according to a new poll.
In the survey conducted by Shell and Auto Express, nearly 33 pct of the respondents said they were jealous of the Clarkson who gets paid to drive sports cars.
Cookery guru Nigella Lawson came second with nearly a 20 pct votes, followed by Man vs Wild adventurer Bear Grylls at third.
Then came American Idol judge Simon Cowell, the Queen, Richard Branson, Cheryl Cole and President Obama.
David Beckham landed the sixth spot followed by JK Rowling, Hugh Hefner, the Pope, and Father Christmas.
The survey involving 1,621 adults also showed that three quarters of the respondents admitted they are not in their dream job and looking for a change.
Almost 75 per cent said they would love to be an author or work for a magazine.
“I feel very lucky to have what is considered one of the best jobs in the world where I can combine my passion for writing with my love of cars,” the Telegraph quoted Dan Strong, of Auto Express, as saying. (ANI)
