May 5th, 2008 - 5:17 pm ICT by adminLondon, May 05 (ANI): Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie have dished out 4 million pounds for the 18th century country mansion of late actor Sir John Gielgud.
The mansion, which is said to have seven bedrooms, is at the South Pavilion.
It stands in vast grounds near Aylesbury, Bucks and is the couples sixth property.
They also have two houses in London, two flats in Bristol and a home in Blairs old constituency in Co Durham.
Oscar winner Sir John Gielgud had passed away in the house in May 2000.
Effie Lecky, who is the widow of Canadian airline boss John Lecky, later bought it and she then sold it off to the Blairs. (ANI)
