Tom Hanks is the owner of a $26 million worth Pacific Palisades home

Pacific Palisades, Feb 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Oscar winner Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are the new owners of a Pacific Palisades property, that is worth a whooping $26 million. It is a 4-bedroom house, which comprises a square feet area of over 14,500. The property has been designed by the New York based Gwathmey Siegel & Associates, and it was built in 1996. And it has a former Hollywood connection as well, as it was the former residence of producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. This $26 million property transaction is said to be the biggest real estate transaction in Los Angeles this year, so far.
Pacific Palisades is a very sought after destination by the Hollywood crowd, as it is very near to the commercial showbiz capital of US – Los Angeles, because it is a district within the Los Angeles itself. It is located right between Santa Monica to the southeast and the Santa Monica Bay to the southwest, and Brentwood to the east, and Malibu to its west.
Pacific Palisades is said to be a very high profile place, and there are plenty of affluent and very well off residents located there. It has an eclectic mix of houses like large private homes, smaller houses, condominiums, and apartments. Pacific Palisades is obviously home to many Hollywood celebrities and luminaries.
