Tom Hanks buys a $26 million home in the Pacific Palisades

tom Pacific Palisades, Feb 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have bought a house in the Pacific Palisades for $26 million. This is the former residence of producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. The house has been designed by the New York based Gwathmey Siegel & Associates. It is a 4-bedroom house, which has an area of over 14,500 square foot.

Pacific Palisades is very near to the commercial showbiz capital of US – Los Angeles, as it is a district within the Los Angeles itself. It is located between Santa Monica to the southeast and the Santa Monica Bay to the southwest, and Brentwood to the east, and Malibu to its west.

It is a very high profile place and reeks of affluent and very well off residents. It is primarily a residential place and has over 27,000 residents, within the confines of the district boundaries. It has an eclectic mix of houses like large private homes, smaller houses, condominiums, and apartments. Pacific Palisades is obviously home to many Hollywood celebrities and luminaries.
