Tom Cruise’s teenage son follows his father’s footsteps

Aug 12 (IBNS) Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s 14-year-old son Connor is all set to step into acting like his parents and will be starring in the remake of 1984’s Red Dawn, and the ‘stud daddy’ said he ‘will never pressurize’ the teen.

“I will never put pressure on him. Who knows what he’s going to do? But driving him to the audition for his first film role was a great father-son moment,” Cruise said Tuesday.

Connor along with his sister Isabell was adopted by Tom and Nicole in 1995.

Nicole is an Oscar winning actress while Tom has starred in some of the biggest movies ever to be produced in the Hollywood.

Now Connor like his parents is will be acting in his second movie the 1984 Red Dawn, which is action war drama, it was reported by ananova.com.

The original movie made into the Guinness Book of Records as the most violent film ever made and it as successful launch pad for Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen.

The movie is based on the onset of World War 3 after America is invaded by the Soviet Union and its Central American allies. The remake will see the group of teenagers fight against Russian and Chinese troops.

Connor Cruise will join newcomers Josh Hutcherson, Isabel Lucas and Edwin Hodge. He will play Daryl - the youngest of the group. The 14-year-old, who is of African-American heritage, made his debut as the young Will Smith in Seven Pounds.
