Tom Cruise to get aviation prize

London, Jan 19 (IANS) Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is set to receive an aviation award.
The “Top Gun” star will be the guest of honour at the upcoming seventh annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards.
NASA astronaut Edwin Aldrin will present Cruise with his coveted prize Jan 22, reported contactmusic.com.
The Legends event is produced by the Kiddie Hawk Air Academy, a non-profit organisation that introduces children to aviation.
Celebrity pilots John Travolta, Morgan Freeman and Kurt Russell are expected to be among those honouring Cruise.
