Tom Cruise: The Superhero In Real Life

November 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Tom Cruise is one of those actors who takes their job very seriously indeed. The 48-year-old Hollywood heartthrob likes to do his own stunts and recently mesmerized the audience with his action packed performance in ‘Knight and Day’. For his upcoming movie ‘Mission Impossible 4’, Tom has broken all records and dangled from the top of World’s tallest building.
Located in Dubai, Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world till date. Tom Cruise shot certain fight sequences for his upcoming movie ‘Mission Impossible 4’ on the top of Burj Khalifa. One of the stunts also required Tom to dangle from the top of Burj Khalifa.
Reports suggest that Tom did not think twice before agreeing to do the risky stunt all by himself. As the onlookers and film crew members watched in shock and disbelief, the Hollywood superstar went ahead and dangled from a height of 2,717 feet. Right now, Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world and measures at a vertigo-inducing 124 stories.
After the stunt was over Tom was heard saying that he likes the adrenaline rush through his blood just before doing a stunt. The actor wants to entertain the audience and give them their money’s worth. The father of three said that he likes to do his own stunt sand will continue doing so till his body permits.
‘Mission Impossible 4′ will show Tom cruise reprise his role as the American superspy Ethan Hunt. The movie will release by early 2011. We cannot wait to see the fourth edition of this spy-flick.
