London, Oct 16 (ANI): Tom Cruise has apparently refused to work on the sequel to ‘Top Gun’.
Executives have given the go-ahead for a follow-up to his 1986 adventure movie about elite fighter pilots.
Producers wanted Cruise to appear in a “smaller role” as his character Maverick.
However, the star, 48, has insisted he will not be involved in the new film, reports the Daily Star.
Producers are now considering whether to cast another actor in the role of Maverick. (ANI)
