Tom Cruise escapes serious injury in a motorcycle crash

Los Angeles, Mar 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise had a fortunate escape, when he was involved in a motorcycle crash. This mishap happened in Los Angeles on Sunday. He wasn’t injured seriously at all, in the actor’s Ducati motorcycle crash with another vehicle. However the same cannot be said about his red Ducati motorcycle, as it was battered in the crash. Reports say that the gears of the motorcycle were “completely torn to shreds on the left side”.
The crash happened when Tom Cruise was driving it, and a car drove straight through a ‘Stop’ sign in front of him. In order to avoid a bang head-on collision, Tom braked, and turned his bike in the other direction, and hit another vehicle there. In this mishap, he wasn’t injured seriously, but he was limping. However he refused to heed to the hospital for medical aid. It was not known if anybody else was also injured in this crash or not.
He was voted as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by the People Magazine, a record three times in the years 1990, 1991 and 1997. In 1995, he was also ranked amongst the 100 sexiest stars in film history by the Empire magazine. And in 1997, Tom Cruise was said to be amongst the top 5 movie stars of all time.
