After all the drama and more importantly, action on the 7th of February, when rapper Chris Brown allegedly physically abused and verbally threatened girlfriend and singer Rihanna, it seems that the hottest couple on the music scene is back together!

Sources have it that the rapper had signed up for anger management lessons. But the latest is that he was spotted at Diddy’s Star Island Home, where he was seen jet-skiing, seemingly unaffected by all the recent going-ons.

The news hasn’t been confirmed by the couple themselves, but people close to the couple insist that they are back together. A friend quoted by the People magazine has said, “They are definitely together and care a great deal about each other.” What makes us take such news even more seriously is what Ronald Fenty, father of Rihanna had to say about the duo: “I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I’m behind her win or lose. I will be supportive. If that’s the road she wants to choose, I’m behind her. I hope to see her soon. I talked to her after her birthday, and she told me she’s OK.”

With there being wide speculations about whether or not Brown would be sent to jail for his assault of Rihanna, the news of their patch-up comes as a surprise, specially to Rihanna’s fans who have shown their support for the 21-year old singer who had been beaten by her 19-year old boyfriend. But perhaps matters of the heart are never simple. Like a friend said about Rihanna to Us Weekly, “It’s not easy to shut off a relationship she invested so much in.”

Apparently the reconciliation started earlier last week on Rihanna’s birthday, when the rapper called to wish her. An insider adds, “They’re together again. They care for each other. While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

We wonder what will become of the couple. For now, wishing them peace and love.
