toad Los Angeles, Feb 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) An American Idol contestant Todrick Hall is in a soup over his past deeds. When he was 17 years old, then he wrote a musical ‘Oz, the musical.’ He also casted amateur actors, casted roles and even had some small productions around the town. Then the production tried to promote the musical on a broader scale and also put up professional actors in leading roles.

Some children were also taken as part of the production, and their parents also paid $50 as part of the fees, so that they could attend the musical. Then suddenly the whole show was canceled, and the fees were not refunded back to the parents. Now Todrick Hall is 24 years old, also one of the top 24 contestants of the American Idol.

Todrick defended the decision to cancel the production, as they didn’t have enough money to go on a national tour. “We got close to 3,000 kids to do the show, but that wasn’t enough cause we have over a 100 shows. When you divide 3,000 kids by 100 shows, it’s not enough kids to be able to pay - to help pay for the venues,” Hall said.
