Los Angeles, August 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The late Whitney Houston’s birthday is today, i.e. the 9th of August. The renowned singer died in February in her Beverly Hills hotel room in her bathtub.

Whitney had struggled with drug and substance abuse for a while and this is said to have been the cause of her death. She was born on August 9th 1963 in New Jersey.

A 1 hour 9 minute special film has been put together for Whitney. The tribute which was released on Tuesday has her interviews and things that people who were around her had to say about her. The tribute has been put together by a writer who is in the music business. The tribute includes all the things that Whitney went through in her life including her sudden and sad demise.

Whitney will be remembered by many especially on her birthday. Her death affected a lot of people including her daughter Bobbie Christina Brown who collapsed when she learnt of her mother’s death. Musicians and other personalities also remember Whitney on her birthday saying that her death was a very big loss to the music community. The film that was put together to remember her also features some of the struggles that Whitney had to go through with her family and her addiction and it is meant to teach the rest of the world about the things that addiction can do if not controlled.
